Woodfords is seeking a full-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our growing Community Supports Program in Kennebunk ME!

Position Summary

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) at Woodfords Expedition Program play a vital role in assisting adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities to live fulfilling and independent lives! They engage in a range of community and center-based activities while incorporating therapeutic and evidence-based practices that foster the achievement of personalized goals and future planning.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills have a team-oriented approach and a genuine desire to make a positive impact. With a focus on empowering individuals to reach their full potential DSPs become an integral part of their journey towards greater independence and improved quality of life. Key responsibilities of the DSP role encompass:

  • Assistance with Self-Care Tasks

Opportunity Details

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Valid drivers license & use of reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
  • Direct Support Professional (DSP) certification or successful completion of the full DSP course within 6 months of hire (Employees are paid by Woodfords when attending DSP training)
