Direct Support Professional, DSP

At Covenant Case Management Services (CCMS) we believe in helping others Thrive with Purpose. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Community Living Support and Respite care for an individual with intellectual disabilities in the Arden NC this role you will play a vital part in fostering independence promoting community inclusion and ensuring a safe supportive and positive environment both in the home and in the community.

• Provide 1-on-1 support companionship and daily living assistance.

• Assist with personal care daily life skills meal preparation and medication administration as needed.

• Facilitate community integration and personal goals while maintaining a safe environment.

• Maintain a warm encouraging and supportive atmosphere.

• Keep accurate timely service documentation in accordance with agency policies.

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

• Required: Valid drivers license reliable vehicle and active auto insurance.

• Required: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

• Experience supporting individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) is preferred.

• Strong communication active listening and interpersonal skills.

• A genuinely compassionate patient and heart-centered approach to care.

• Location: Arden NC

• Pay Rate: $17.50 / hour

• Schedule: Contract 28 hours/week (Flexible schedule based on availability)
