Accurate documentation is essential for demonstrating progress toward each individuals outcomes and Progress: Staff gather and record information about resident progress on a daily basis. This is an important part of showing measurable outcomes for the individuals of Support: DSPs must be willing to participate in all aspects of their role. Staff provide training counseling and assistance to residents in the following areas:Personal hygiene and grooming including incontinence supportCare of clothing and personal belongingsUnderstanding and exercising rights in the communityFulfilling responsibilities in the communityPersonal awarenessRoutine health careAppropriate socializationCommunity orientationRecreation and leisure activitiesMeal preparation and planningDietary oversightHousekeeping and home maintenanceDeveloping interpersonal relationshipsEmergency proceduresPersonal program participationAnger managementMoney managementCaring for personal propertyBehavioral interventionAddressing medical needsResident Routines: Staff must follow through with each residents established Rights: Staff must always ensure that resident rights are protected and and Meetings: All staff meetings and scheduled trainings are mandatory.
