You work hard for your money why wait to be paid!JOB SUMMARYUnder the direction of the Associate Director of Community Supports or Program Coordinator II this position is responsible for maintaining an environment in the program which encourages and facilitates optimal personal development and provides person directed services and ensures the health and safety of the people FUNCTIONS:Regulatory and Corporate ComplianceEnsure compliance with regulations agency policies and required documentation is complete accurate and the agencys incident management process is input in the development and revisions of policies procedures and agency forms as Chain of Command is followed when necessary and instructions are followed as stated in policy and ManagementAssist with ensuring adherence to the annual with ensuring accurate management of personal funds with the people receiving personal allowance documentation and other financial documentation according to Centered ServicesProvide services to people as planned in their Life Plan (LP) which includes the persons Individual Protective Oversight Plan (IPOP) Residential Staff Action Plan Support Plans Day Habilitation Plans Community Habilitation Plans Staff Action Plans and other safeguards and ensure all related documentation is activities as outlined in the Staff Action Plan and as applicable the Life and coordinate daily as an advocate for people receiving support from the person-directed assessments and compile baseline data as people so they may be included and participate in their the persons right to privacy and confidentiality by appropriate use of written and verbal collaboratively with others to ensure the persons health and emergency medical procedures are followed and consult with the medical chain of command when and document all medical concerns the person may have to the appropriate services and follow persons Plan of Nursing Services (PONS).Transport and attend health and medical appointments as on-going communication with the Residence Manager Relief Coordinator Associate Director of Community Supports or Program Coordinator IIProgram/Service ManagementMaintain an environment which encourages and facilitates optimal personal assigned daily shift overlaps and specific duties as documentation filing and general office maintenance and other routine operational reports charge reports and any other paperwork as in the identification and development of new service and support opportunities that provide quality of life knowledge of and effective use of agency software Plant and SafetyEnsure the site is a safe clean environment and immediately address areas of knowledge of fire evacuation plan and ensure plan is knowledge of health and safety plans and ensure plans are followedMaintain an environment that encourages and facilitates optimal personal standard precautions and other appropriate infection control site vehicles are maintained if with OthersDevelop and maintain positive customer relationships both internal and external. This includes family local businesses and internal and external service that internal and external written and verbal communications regarding the agency are positive and reflect our mission vision and values and respect the persons right to privacy and customer concerns are addressed in a timely and professional FUNCTIONS:Participate in agency committees initiatives projects and with coverage within the Division and Agency as certifications and annual training updates as frequently be required to use your private vehicle to transport the people we SKILLS AND ABILITIES:The person in this position exhibits conscientiousness dedication self-discipline and a sense of person in this position functions successfully with immediate supervision with work checked person in this position has the ability to work independently take initiative and prioritize multiple assignments with attention to detail and deadlines in a high volume stressful person in this position has the ability to establish effective relationships and work in a team environment to meet team and company person in this position has the ability to exercise discretion in handling confidential information. This includes medical financial and personal information of associates and persons receiving person in this position has basic Microsoft Office person in this position demonstrates knowledge of introductory computer person in this position has good written and verbal communication person in this position is able to operate office equipment computers and medical person in this position must be able to operate wheelchair vans if applicable at person in this position must be able to work regularly scheduled hours as well as additional hours as assigned including overtime nights and person in this position must be able to be contacted outside of working AND EXPERIENCE:High School diploma GED or an acceptable TABE test score is requiredCPR/First Aid/AED and SCIP Certification within the first six months of hireMedication Administration Certification as required. Upon receipt of Medication Administration Certification person meets criteria of a Direct Support II.
