What Youll Do
Help supportindividuals with intellectual and physical disabilities in their everyday moments and big life events. As a Support Buddy youll provide encouragement and guide othersas they build independence develop new skills and work towards their goals.
Youll assist your buddy developskillsinareas such as:
- Personal safety
- Money management
- Social and communication skills
- Healthy lifestyle habits
- Community involvement
- Household and homemaking tasks
- Fine and gross motor skill development
- Goal achievement and daily living skills
Every day is different and your support helps individuals gain confidence in their everyday life.
Qualifications
- No previous experience required all training is provided.
- Compassionate patient and reliable.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Schedule
Part-Time: 1015 hours per week
- MondayFriday between 2:00p.m. and 7:00 p.m. (flexible scheduling within these hours)
- Two weekends per monthyou choose the weekends that fit your schedule.
Pay
Starting at $15.00 per hour
