Direct Care Worker Part Time Floater

Were looking for compassionate dependable and flexible individuals to join our Community Living & Home Supports (CLHS) team as Direct Care Workers.

About the Role
This is afloater position which means youll bring your support and care to different homes and locations. Flexibility is keyyoull work a variety of shifts including weekends (Saturday & Sunday).

What Youll Do

• Provide person-centered support to adults with intellectual physical and/or behavioral disabilities promoting dignity choice independence and self-determination.
• Assist with daily living and personal care including meals bathing dressing toileting household tasks medication administration and other needs based on the individuals support plan.
• Support community involvement and skill development by accompanying individuals to appointments recreational activities volunteer opportunities and other community experiences.
• Maintain a safe supportive and welcoming home environment while implementing individualized service plans behavioral strategies and health and safety procedures.
• Document and communicate effectively by completing required records monitoring and reporting changes in individuals health or behavior and working collaboratively with supervisors and the individuals support team.

The base pay for this position is $19.09 per hour! Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
