Direct Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to provide exceptional support and care to our clients in Highland Township MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities promoting their independence and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing dressing and grooming
• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Help with medication reminders and other health-related tasks under supervision
• Accompany clients to appointments and social activities
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and client progress
• Ensure a clean and safe living environment for clients
• Communicate effectively with clients families and healthcare team members

• Previous experience in caregiving or direct care is a plus but not needed
• Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to pass background checks
• Reliability and flexibility to accommodate client schedules

• Competitive pay ranging from $14.00 to $19.00 per hour paid twice a month
