Direct Care Supervisor

Being a Program Supervisor at our facility will give you an opportunity to grow your professional skills...

Responsibilities include:

• Comprehensive training in crisis prevention/intervention trauma informed care CPR first aid and more!
• Providing quality care and motivation to the children and adolescents we service.
• Supervising Direct Support Professionals and providing mentorship.
• Implementing programs designed to meet the social emotional physical and personal needs of clients.
• Assisting supporting and instructing individuals in self-help skills designed to encourage independence.
• Establishing and maintaining a therapeutic rapport with individuals.

We are seeking Program Supervisors to oversee operations in our Psychiatric Residential Intensive Treatment Program (PRTF) dedicated to ouradolescent clients ages 10-21. Program Supervisors oversee support supervise and act as a resource to direct support staff and individuals served. Administrativetasks are also required as needed.

*Starting pay: $24.00 per hour.

Additional compensation for Experience & Bachelors degree or higher.

Shifts That May Be Available:

1st: 6:30am-3:15pm

2nd: 2:30pm-11:00pm - This is for a 2nd shift opening only!

3rd: 10:45pm-7:15am

On-call weekend availability and some holidays required.

EDUCATION:Bachelors Degree in the field of counseling mental health social work psychology/sociology rehabilitation special education or human services field preferred; OR Some college education w/60 college credits in human services preferred.

EXPERIENCE:Two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred (degree); or four (4) years of supervisory experience in a mental health related discipline required (non-degree);Direct care experience with the I/DD (intellectual/developmental disabilities) population specifically children and adolescents preferred.

Other qualifications:

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; leadership relationship management and multi-tasking skills are required.

• Strong technical skills and ability to utilize in-house computer applications.

• Have a strong passion for working with and helping children living with emotionaland behavioraldifferences.

• Valid Drivers License and Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results.

• On-call weekend availability and some holidays required.

• Must be able to complete atwo-week paid new hire orientation class;hours are approximately 8:30am to 5:30pm daily.
