Job Summary
- Provides strategic direction and leadership for the growth and development of the RNCs for Continuing Care and the broader health delivery system. Assumes the authority responsibility and accountability of directing all activities and programs of the RNCs across all care regions. Develops implements and maintains the annual operation budget and ensures that operations are managed within the established guidelines. Plans develops and implements coordinated programs to maximize operational efficiencies for achieving objectives.
- Delegates the administrative authority responsibility and accountability to other staff personnel as deemed necessary to perform their assigned duties. Hires and directs all service line administrators and program directors as well as mentors and develops team members through empowerment business experiences and by example. Listens to and helps solve problems and encourages team members to make good decisions and perform effectively.
- Ensures that processes and services are continuously monitored for quality cost effectiveness and efficiency. Engages in process and quality improvement activities. Makes and implements recommendations to improve operational efficiency and to implement new services for areas of responsibility.
- Ensures that services are provided in accordance with state and Federal regulations organizational policy accreditation and compliance requirements.
- Serves as liaison between Continuing Care Regional Hospitals and System Leadership as it relates to RNC strategy and operations.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships within the organization. Provides information to senior levels of management on the implication of policies and procedures being formulated and recommends specific action
- Required Bachelors Degree Business Administration healthcare administration or related field
- Preferred Masters Degree Healthcare administration or MBA
- 7 years of relevant experience in a post acute setting; preferably in a multi-site operation Required
- 5 years of relevant experience leadership Required
- Experience working in a health system or integrated delivery network. Preferred
- LIC-Drivers License - STATEMI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- LIC-Nursing Home Administrator - STATEMI State of Michigan Upon Hire preferred
