Dining Room Runner-Steady Extra (Caesars PalaceThe Vanderpump Hotel LV)

This is a general posting for multiple outlets with an open Dining Room Runner person position between Caesars Palace Las Vegas and The Vanderpump Hotel Las Vegas. If selected for this role you will be hired into a specific property and a specific outlet at the time of offer.

The primary responsibility of the Food Runner is to expedite all food orders taken by the Bartenders and Cocktail Servers to the guest quickly.

• Serve food in a timely manner.
• Ensure food order is correct before serving the guests.
• Monitor tables closely and be attentive to guests needs.
• Describe in detail the preparation methods and ingredients of all the menu items.
• Carry multiple dishes (up to 3 at one time) in one hand without tray service.
• Passionately informs guests about Gordon Ramsay his history and current business endeavors.
• Refresh flatware after each course or upon guest request.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area/station.
• Ensure work area/station is clean and always stocked.
• Ability to work from a standing position for extended periods of time.

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Work requires 6 months previous food server / running experience.

• Work requires effective communication in English both verbal and written form in a professional manner.

• Must present a neat and professional appearance.

• Work requires interactions with customers public and co-workers.

• Work requires teamwork with other staff members.

• Nevada Food Handlers Certification

• Union Referral

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Fast paced high volume environment involving constant public.
• Requires carrying serving trays weighing up to 15 lbs. and may require lifting bus tubs weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Shifts may vary based on business needs.
• Must be able to tolerate secondary tobacco smoke.
