The Dining Room Supervisor leads front-of-house staff ensures excellent customer service and supports daily dining operations. This role requires leadership attention to detail and hands-on participation in service.

• Supervise train mentor and evaluate front-of-house staff

• Assign sections monitor service flow and ensure resident satisfaction

• Responsible for creating the schedule and knowing which servers are on schedule and assigning sections on a rotating basis.

• Review communication logs and meal bookings; coordinate special diets and events

• Assist servers with table setting and breakdown as appropriate making sure clean linen is available and ordering from linen supplier.

• Monitor safety standards cleanliness and equipment use

• Communicate with nursing regarding incidents or resident needs

• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• 1 year experience in food service or hospitality; leadership/mentoring experience preferred

• Food Handlers Permit required

• Strong leadership conflict resolution multitasking and communication skills

• Lift up to 50 lbs; push 250 lb carts or residents
• Stand walk bend squat and perform repetitive arm/hand motions
