Ashley Manors Eagle campus is home to 30 residents and mealtimes are the anchor of their day. We are looking for a Dining Services Manager to own our kitchen: planning menus managing inventory cooking and serving daily meals and setting a standard the whole community can taste. You run the kitchen and you are not alone in it. Our caregiving team assists with meal prep and serving every day so you are leading the food not doing all of it single-handed.

What Youll Do

• Build and rotate resident menus using our Grove Menu system balancing variety nutrition and budget
• Cook and serve daily meals in a home-style kitchen with real attention to plating and presentation
• Manage inventory ordering and receiving and keep food costs on target
• Prepare and teach modified textures and therapeutic diets making sure every plate matches the residents order
• Train and coach caregiving staff who assist with prep and serving on food safety sanitation and texture standards
• Maintain kitchen sanitation and equipment care to Idaho state and Ashley Manor standards
• Partner with facility leadership and the activities team on holiday meals family gatherings and special events
• Set the tone for the dining experience from table setup to the conversation at mealtime

What Were Looking For

• Cooking experience required. Senior living long-term care or assisted living experience strongly preferred. Restaurant school and healthcare kitchen backgrounds are welcome.
• Comfort running a kitchen independently including menu planning and ordering
• Knowledge of modified textures and therapeutic diets or the drive to learn them quickly
• Basic computer skills. Grove experience is a plus and we will train you on it.
• ServSafe or Certified Dietary Manager certification a plus. We will support you in earning it.
• High school diploma or GED
• Warmth and patience with seniors including residents living with memory loss
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stay on your feet through a shift
• Valid drivers license background check and drug screen
