Digital Reporter (Part-time)

KSNT-TV/KTMJ-TV is looking for a part-time Digital Reporter to research and write news articles for the website post to social media accounts and produce video content for all broadcast and digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Produce creative compelling news content for viewers across mobile desktop streaming and social media platforms.
• Report breaking news online quickly accurately and aggressively.
• Write edit and proofread content for accuracy grammar punctuation following prescribed editorial style and formatting guidelines.
• Ensure all news content meets company standards for journalistic integrity and production quality.
• Monitor email phones social media analytics and other sources for breaking news and story leads.
• Research and analyze background information to deliver complete accurate and context-rich stories.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Skills:

• Bachelors degree or working toward a degree in journalism mass media or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple assignments and meeting tight deadlines.
• Valid drivers license with a good driving record.
• Flexibility to work any shift.
