About the Role

At Colgate-Palmolive we are transforming our Quality organization to be proactive digital-first and AI-ready. To achieve this we need an impeccable data foundation. We are seeking a Digital Quality Systems Specialist - Governance Analytics and Automation to serve as a vital custodian of our quality systems and data. This role will report into the Director of Digital Quality Systems.

We are seeking a Senior Global Quality Digital Systems Specialist to architect define and enforce comprehensive System Governance policies and operational compliance strategy across all enterprise quality systems (QMS LIMS ERP) and Quality processes (Quality Technical Agreements Mock Recovery Audits among others). In this role you will ensure master data standardization and data management. You will closely partner with business process owners and SMEs to translate the compliance and business requirements into intuitive high-impact analytics visualizations and dashboards required to provide the insights for better and faster business decisions. You will build digital solutions to automate operational workloads and provide systemic digital controls on standardized machine-readable data. Furthermore you will play a critical role ensuring our enterprise platforms adhere to rigorous regulatory standards like 21 CFR Part 11 EU Annex 11 and our internal Data Integrity directives.

Responsibilities

System Governance and Reliability

  • Design configure automate and maintain system access tools (e.g. enabled through Okta) to ensure compliance with internal governance rules data integrity standards GxP regulatory requirements in alignment with the system business owners.

  • In collaboration with Global Information Technology (GIT) manage the full user access lifecycle including deactivation and removal verifying that defined security and quality prerequisites are met for the corresponding digital applications. Develop and maintain user friendly access request tools and guidance detailing the pre-requisites and steps for access requests.

  • Attend issue resolution and monitoring. Coordinate issue-reporting tracks with users GIT and the software vendor. Develop configure enhance and manage issue reporting digital tools to ease the resolution process and bring visibility to the common and/or critical issues. Collaborate to define and implement corrective/preventive actions involving automation when possible.

  • Ensure accurate users metadata (e.g. position functionprimary location roles etc.) is maintained to ensure continuous access validity and data integrity. Support automation and integration initiatives.

  • Manage the quality system business continuity communications. Issue proper advance notifications detailing system downtime for scheduled maintenance or technical upgrades to all sites.

  • Work in collaboration with the Global quality systems team for the creation and update of the system Governance SOPs across digital quality platforms.

Data Standardization & Analytics

  • Maintain workflows and master data to uphold strict global standardization simplification and regulatory alignment for critical quality data elements (e.g. product hierarchies batch codes site locations materials vendors categories etc.).

  • Proactively monitor data quality using SQL and BI tools to identify anomalies ALCOA principles gaps profile system health and drive remediation efforts before they become audit findings.

  • Development of visually intuitive dashboards and reports using tools like Sigma and Streamlit. Tracking and reporting on data quality KPIs governance metrics and system adoption rates to provide real-visibility with actionable insights audit-readiness indices and monitor the health of the digital ecosystem.

Quality Systems Automation

  • Architect deploy and maintain robust digital solutions that convert high-friction manual or repetitive activities into fully automated validated computer workflows. Proactively identify automation solutions to mitigate human error eliminate data integrity blind spots and optimize operational workloads across global sites.

  • Collaborate with Global IT on the integration initiatives to strengthen data quality.

  • Embed the ALCOA data integrity principles into the foundational design of deployed quality systems and daily operational practices. Support the strategic transition from highly variable procedural controls to enforceable systemic digital controls (e.g. restricted Master Keyword Lists hard-coded field drop-downs and automated metadata tagging).

    This position requires being on-site four days a week at our Piscataway location

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Data Analytics Computer Science Information Systems or any other related field.

  • 4 years of experience acting as an independent SME in global digital systems.

  • Proficiency in enterprise QMS such as Veeva Vault TrackWise or ETQ and Laboratory Information Management Systems.

  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools (primarily Sigma or similar).

  • Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) concepts or variable tracking (e.g. Cp Cpk Pp Ppk metrics) or trend modeling.

  • Familiarity in GxP regulations quality compliance and data integrity. This includes understanding of GxP regulations FDA 21 CFR Part 11 EMA Annex 11 and core quality workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in a relevant technical field related to Computer Science Information Systems Data Analytics or similar.

  • Hands-on experience with ETQ Quality Management System /Lab Vantage LIMS. Skill in workflow mapping and frontline technical troubleshooting.

  • Possess a clear understanding of the ALCOA principles and data integrity requirements.

  • An analytical problem solver with excellent project management and executional skills.

  • Possess effective cross-functional communication teamwork collaboration strategic thinking and advocacy.


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $96800.00 - $137000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience qualifications and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses profit-sharing and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including medical dental vision basic life insurance paid parental leave disability coverage and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employees hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws.
