Our hybrid work environment combines the best of both worlds with at least three (3) days in office and up to two (2) days virtual for employees who live within fifty (50) miles of a Farmers corporate office. Applicants beyond fifty (50) miles may still be considered.
Operates and maintains large-scale high-speed digital printing systems utilizing inkjet and toner-based printing technologies. Understanding Prisma Production print queue is a plus. Candidate will print assigned jobs in accordance with department quality standards and procedures. Visual inspections for quality to confirm results meet job specifications is expected. Must have the ability to perform basic printer troubleshooting and customer required equipment maintenance tasks as needed.
- This is a 3rd Shift opportunity onsite in our Caledonia MI DS&L Location.
- Shift Hours: Sunday - Thursday from 10:30 pm to 7:00 am.
- A 10% shift differential applies working this shift.
- Sets up and operates high-speed electronic digital printing devices.
- Coordinates workload schedule with production team to meet customer quality and timeframe requirements.
- Visually inspects all work.
- Stages materials for efficient and orderly processing.
- Performs daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on digital printing equipment as expected.
- Conducts basic troubleshooting of issues.
- One year experience in graphic arts running printing equipment or equivalent.
- Experience and confidence in working with computers and computer-driven equipment.
- Experience with Microsoft office products.
- Experience working in a fast-paced high pressure production environment (preferred).
- Experience with production printing operations (preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Good working knowledge of the printing papers.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
