Position Summary
Career Readiness Learning Objectives: Communication : The student workers in the digital engagement position will clearly and effectively exchange information with the Associate Director of Annual Giving or other UA staff. Student workers in this role will clearly and effectively gather information to strategically enhance the engagement experience on our social media channels event pages alumni spotlight library and website. The digital engagement student worker will clearly and effectively communicate all edits to website social media pages and events to the Associate Director of Annual Giving and other UA staff for proofing before making final edits. Technology: Student workers will use their knowledge of technology and department programs including Constant Contact Hootsuite or Meta Give Smart Give Campus and other software systems. They will be able to efficiently complete tasks with minimal supervision and accomplish goals assigned to them during their work period. Teamwork: Student workers will build and maintain collaborative relationships with UA staff faculty members alumni constituents and other student workers to accomplish the common goals of engaging our constituent base while providing an enhanced experience. Responsibilities: The Digital Student Worker will assist and enhance the constituent experience through engagement fundraising and communication efforts. This student worker is responsible for creating digital engagement to increase social media following and create event pages that will house event registrations for University Advancement and other university departments. This student worker will assist with their UA supervisor with website update/content. Students will contact the Gannon community (i.e. alumni & friends) through phone calls to support the university. Assist with alumni events (may be outside regular hours). The student worker will also assist in writing alumni spotlights to be highlighted on social and our addition managing unsubscribes and merging IDs to upload into CRM and accurately assisting in our Image Now software to update the information so it is valid.

attention to detail and computer literacy 2. Data Entry Experience 3. Proficient in MS Office Suite: Excel PowerPoint and Word.
