7 Hours Daily (FT) / 182 Days (Full School Year)

Summary: To assist in providing a well-organized and smoothly functioning classroom environment that reflects the Digital Animation & Game Programming industry allowing students to fully benefit from the instructional program and available resources.

Job Qualifications:

1. Must have graduated from high school (Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred).
2. Minimum of two (2) years (4000 hours) of recent and relevant work experience in digitalanimation game design graphic communications or related field.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students staffparents and industry partners.
4. Experience working with a team to collect interpret and use data to inform instructionaldecisions.
5. Demonstrated ability to work with culturally diverse student populations includingeconomically disadvantaged special education and English Learner students.
6. Ability to organize prioritize work independently and maintain confidentiality.
7. Ability to be flexible and demonstrate initiative and self-direction.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist in providing specialized instruction in Digital Animation Game Programming andrelated CTE content areas.
2. Support students on a one-to-one or small group basis as directed by the lead instructor.
3. Use remedial and tutorial strategies to support student learning and skill development.
4. Assist in maintaining a safe structured and effective learning environment in classroomlab and field settings.
5. Support proper and safe use of digital tools software and equipment used in theprogram.
6. Assist in setup operation and maintenance of instructional technology and labequipment.
7. Provide accommodations and supplementary supports for at-risk students includingassistance with assignments note taking and study guides aligned to IEPs and 504 Plans.
8. Support implementation of Student Success Plans including curricular supports andassistive technology.
9. Collect and share student progress data with the Student Services team following MTSSand Special Education review cycles.
10. Assist with coordinating student visits program tours and internship experiences.
11. Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
12. Perform other duties as assigned by the Administration.
