Job Summary

Dietary and Food Kitchen SupervisorRate of Pay: $16.00/hrDo you have strong leadership skills experience in dietary supervision and want to work for a company that positively impacts the wellbeing of the individuals it serves In the Kitchen Supervisor role you will help this company in its commitment to serve others by providing day-to-day direction to kitchen staff overseeing food preparation and distribution of meals to persons served. Train staff on standard concepts practices and procedures for cooking and dietary food preparationPrepare all menu items using established policies and proceduresEnsure that presentation and preparation of all menu items adhere to established standards and prescribed diet plans and are delivered at acceptable temperaturesCommunicate any changes to the established menu according to company policyMonitor and ensure that special diets meal plans and portions are provided according to menu guidelinesDevelop and maintain adequate food/supplies order as required Inspect supplies equipment or work areas to ensure all equipment is cleaned and operationalComplete daily quality assurance checks required by state/local health departments and food temperature logsEnsure that high standards of sanitation cleanliness and safety are maintained throughout the kitchen areas at all times in compliance with established standardsMay oversee full-sized kitchen in which meals are cooked and prepared on-siteReport any hazardous conditions equipment accidents and incidents to supervisorAdhere to policy requiring the timely reporting of consumer and/or employee injuriesQualifications: High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 2 years of experience in food service industry; supervisory experience preferred ServSafe and Allergen CertificationOther certifications as required by local jurisdictionA commitment to quality in everything you doEffective communication skills and strong management skillsExceptional attention to detail with ability to multitaskA reliable responsible attitude and a compassionate approachWhy Join Us Full Part-time and As-Needed schedules availablePaid Time Off and Health benefits for full-time training and holiday pay career development and advancement opportunitiesWork with some of the best co-workers you could ask for and see your impact on the lives of those individuals we serveSince our funding comes from Federal and State payers we offer stability and secure work opportunitiesEmployee Referral Program bonus opportunities for eligible rolesWe have meaningful work for you come join our team Apply Today!
