Dietary Cook

Nemaha County Hospital is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Dietary Cook to join our Dietary Services team. This position plays an important role in providing nutritious high-quality meals to patients residents visitors and staff. The Dietary Cook is responsible for preparing meals according to established menus recipes dietary guidelines and food safety standards while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a healthcare setting take pride in food preparation and understand the important role nutrition plays in patient care and recovery

• Previous cooking experience in a healthcare long-term care school restaurant or institutional food service setting.
• Knowledge of therapeutic and modified diets.
• Food Handlers Permit or ServSafe certification.
