Currently The Cambridge Assisted Living & Memory Care is seeking a Dietary Aide to continue our story of compassionately caring for our residents.

- 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
- Set and clear dining room tables before and after meals in accordance with community standards.
- Assist with meal service to residents while following proper portioning and therapeutic diet guidelines.
- Deliver meals and trays to resident apartments as needed.
- Wash and properly store dishes pots pans utensils and kitchen equipment according to sanitation procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen dishwashing areas prep stations storage rooms dining areas floors walls and equipment.
- Prepare serving carts water carafes and dining room setups for each meal service.
- Buss tables remove trash and assist with kitchen closing duties.
- Vacuum and clean dining room areas to maintain a welcoming environment for residents and guests.
- Assist cooks and kitchen staff with food preparation and other kitchen support duties as assigned.
- Follow all food safety sanitation and Health Department guidelines.
- Adhere to proper food handling storage and infection control practices.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents families visitors vendors and team members.
- Support resident satisfaction by maintaining a friendly courteous and professional attitude.
- Work cooperatively as part of the dietary team to ensure efficient kitchen and dining operations.
- Attend required training sessions and follow all company policies and procedures.
- Support resident rights dignity privacy and independence at all times.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Dining Services Manager or community leadership.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
- Food Handlers Permit (or ability to obtain according to state requirements).
- Ability to read write and follow oral and written instructions.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred.
- Ability to understand and follow therapeutic diet orders.
- Compassion for seniors and a desire to work with the elderly population.
- Strong communication teamwork and customer service skills.
- Ability to work responsibly both independently and as part of a team.
- Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Must meet health screening requirements and pass a criminal background check.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation including standing bending lifting carrying and pushing throughout the shift.
