Job Details:

Shift: afternoon

Weekly Hours: less than 30

Salary Range: $17.00-$21.25

*It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case and on several factors including relevant work experience education certification &licensure and internal equity. Hourly pay is just one part of the compensation package for employees.

Job Summary

The Dietary Aide is responsible for providing high-quality meal service to residents staff and visitors in a long-term care environment. This position plays an essential role in supporting residents health and well-being by preparing and serving meals and beverages in accordance with individual dietary plans and established sanitation and safety standards. Duties include assembling and delivering resident meal trays assisting residents with meal selections and ensuring meals are served in a courteous timely and sanitary manner. The Dietary Aide also maintains cleanliness in all food service areas and adheres to infection prevention food safety and regulatory compliance requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum age of 16. Prior food service experience in long-term care preferred.

Previous customer service experience or knowledge of food service operations is desirable.
