Dietary Aide Responsibilities

• Serve meals in accordance with establishedportion control procedures

• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties

• Set up meal trays food carts dining roomsetc. as instructed

• Assist cook in preparing meals

• Distribute and collect menus as necessary

• Prepare and dispose of food and waste inaccordance with sanitary guidelines

• Ensure that food and supplies for meals arereadily available

• Assist in inventorying and storing in-comingfood supplies etc. as necessary

Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent

Preferred

• Previous experience in long-term care
