The Opportunity: Are you a skilled and motivated Diesel Technician looking for a long-term career opportunity with a stable and thriving company C L Diesel is seeking an experienced professional to join our dedicated team. If youre passionate about heavy-duty diesel mechanics excel at diagnostics and thrive in a dynamic shop environment we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics repair and maintenance on a variety of diesel engines vehicles and heavy equipment (e.g. trucks trailers construction equipment agricultural machinery).
  • Execute preventative maintenance general repairs and complex mechanical overhauls.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems hydraulics transmissions brakes and other vehicle components.
  • Utilize diagnostic software and specialized tools to identify and resolve issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections and safety checks.
  • Complete work orders service reports and other documentation accurately and completely.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members parts department and service advisors.
  • Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of progressive experience as a Diesel Technician ideally in a e.g. heavy truck construction or agricultural setting.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex diesel engine systems including modern electronic controls.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics electrical systems air brakes and drivetrains.
  • Experience with various diagnostic software and tools.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean abstract. CDL is a Plus
  • Owns basic hand tools; specialized tools provided by the shop.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
