What Youll Do

As a Diesel Mechanic you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial trucks trailers and fleet equipment to help keep customers safely on the road and minimize equipment downtime.

Key responsibilities include:

• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on heavy-duty trucks trailers and fleet equipment.

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines brakes electrical systems drivetrains steering suspension HVAC air and hydraulic systems.

• Conduct DOT inspections and identify safety or compliance issues.

• Repair and replace tires wheels hubs bearings brakes and related components.

• Identify developing equipment issues and recommend repairs before they result in breakdowns or extended downtime.

• Complete work orders inspection reports and service documentation accurately and on time.

• Communicate repair findings recommendations and equipment status professionally with customers and management.

• Follow company OSHA DOT and customer-site safety requirements.

• Maintain tools equipment and work areas in a safe and organized condition.

This is a hands-on customer-focused role for a Diesel Mechanic who takes pride in quality repairs troubleshooting problems and keeping commercial equipment operating safely and reliably.

Minimum Qualifications Required

• Minimum of 1 year of heavy-duty truck and trailer repair experience

• Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record

• FMCSA DOT and brake inspector certification or ability to meet certification requirements

• Working knowledge of diesel engines brakes electrical drivetrain steering and suspension systems

• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues

• Basic computer skills for electronic work orders and service documentation

• Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize repairs

• Strong communication problem-solving and customer service skills
