Diesel Mechanic

Urban infraconstruction is looking for a Diesel Mechanic Heavy Civil Construction to join our Equipment team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel engines heavy equipment trucks and support vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical hydraulic and electrical issues and determine appropriate solutions.
• Inspect and service components such as transmissions drivetrains fuel systems braking systems and hydraulic systems.
  
• Respond to equipment breakdowns in the field and perform timely effective repairs to minimize downtime.
  
• Operate diagnostic tools and equipment to assess system performance and troubleshoot malfunctions.
  

Key Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in diesel mechanics preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in diesel engine and heavy equipment repair ideally in construction or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic electrical and mechanical systems.
  
• Proficiency with diagnostic software and tools.
• Valid drivers license; CDL preferred
