What you will be doing

ACME DISTRIBUTION CENTERin Denver PA is a division of Albertsons Companies one of the largest food and drug retailers with 2300 stores. The Albertsons Companies family of brands includes some of the most prominent brands in food retailing with a growing base of loyal shoppers.

We are searching for aDiesel Mechanicto join our skilled team at theACME Lancaster Distribution Centerlocated in Denver PA.Positions offer a competitive comprehensive benefit package annual tool & boot allowance. $3000 retention bonus possible!

For a new hire the first 2 weeks would be Monday-Friday working 06:00 to 14:30.

After 2 weeks -4-day 10-hour schedule. The days would be Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday working 06:00-16:30 14:00-00:30 or 21:00-07:30.

Main responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on Class A Diesel Trucks - Combo.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues
• Answer drivers telephone request for assistance with equipment failure while out on the road
• Maintain and repair all equipment to include engine starting and charging electrical body wheels brakes suspension and interior.

What we are searching for

Qualifications:

• Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy duty tractor/trailer repair. May require valid DOT physical card and a CDL drivers license.
• May need certification in the use of refrigerants and recycling equipment
• Ability to work full-time with the ability to work any shift.
• ASE Certifications
• PA State Inspection License a plus.
• 608 & 609 Refrigeration Certification
• CDL A plus.
