Job Summary

US Farathaneis seeking an experienced 2ndShiftDie Setter. The Die Setter is directly responsible for the machine set-ups including primary and secondary equipment both scheduled and unscheduled.

We provide customers with a wide range of full-service support from black-box design concepts to highly engineered composites TPEs and TPOs as well as specialized extrusion and compression technologies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Die Setters are responsible for all areas of the die set clamping watering cleaning area excessive grease from tie bars and set up cycle per cycle sheet.
Die Setters are directly responsible for the machine set-ups including primary and secondary equipment both scheduled and unscheduled.
Ensure all paperwork is completed submitted and filed in a timely manner
Adhere to all company policies and procedures (i.e. quality policy manual associate handbook etc.)
Comply with of all internal and OSHA required safety procedures
Maintain high standards of housekeeping in respective areas
Communicate to Supervisor when low on Die Setter supplies
When Die Setters approach the mold change they are to survey the area for any oil leaks clean the area if need be and they are to report issues to the Supervisor.
Maintain inventory of Die Setter supplies in good condition and complete a request for more supplies
Work required overtime as needed
Other duties may be assigned as necessary

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates Licenses Registrations- Hi Lo License and crane training required
Follow instructions properly
Neat performance of duties
Willing and able to work seven (7) days a week whenever required
Must be capable of completing mold change part to part within 1 (one) hour or less while following all safety rules
Document any machine or secondary issues utilizing maintenance work order system

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand walk sit and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds from floor to height of approximately four (4) feet and approximately forty (40) times per shift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
