Position Overview

We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to join a collaborative Medical Imaging team in Peoria Illinois.

Under the direction of a radiologist the Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures while providing safe comfortable and patient-centered care. This position requires strong knowledge of imaging techniques patient positioning anatomy and radiation safety.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Radiologic Technologist seeking a four-day workweek strong shift differentials and continued professional growth within a hospital imaging environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine diagnostic radiographic procedures
  • Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively
  • Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
  • Apply prescribed ionizing radiation using proper technical factors and safety standards
  • Collect relevant patient medical history before imaging procedures
  • Explain imaging procedures and answer patient questions
  • Provide safe and comfortable care to pediatric adult elderly and medically complex patients
  • Review image quality and determine whether additional images may be necessary
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate imaging and patient documentation
  • Participate in weekend and holiday rotations

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of a formal Radiography program with an associated certificate or degree
  • ARRT registration at hire OR ability to obtain registration within 2 years of hire after sitting for the registry within 6 months of hire
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience performing routine diagnostic procedures in General Radiology
  • Previous customer service or patient experience background
  • Strong knowledge of patient positioning and radiographic techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Compensation & Incentives

Pay Range: $27.25$35.67 per hour

Shift Differential: $2.25 per hour
Weekend Differential: $2.50 per hour
Sign-On Bonus: $15000
Relocation Assistance: Available for eligible candidates

Actual compensation is based on experience skills and internal equity.
