Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Hybrid

Duration (Contract): 5 Months

Job Description:
As a Senior Project Manager you will lead complex program implementation and operational transformation initiatives from planning through launch and stabilization. You will serve as the central point of coordination among stakeholders business partners and leadership teams ensuring successful execution of strategic initiatives. This role focuses on program implementation stakeholder engagement operational readiness and governance rather than traditional IT systems project management. The successful candidate will drive accountability facilitate decision-making and ensure project objectives are achieved through disciplined project management practices and proactive risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate initiative workstreams governance meetings and stakeholder forums
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans schedules milestones dependencies and deliverables
  • Build subject matter expertise on program objectives policies operational workflows and compliance requirements
  • Translate business and operational requirements into actionable project tasks and implementation plans
  • Create and maintain project management artifacts including RACI matrices RAID logs action trackers and status reports
  • Identify risks and issues proactively develop mitigation strategies and manage escalations
  • Coordinate activities across multiple business units external partners providers and stakeholder groups
  • Support external stakeholder engagement by organizing materials tracking commitments and ensuring timely follow-through
  • Drive change management activities including stakeholder analysis communications planning training readiness and launch preparation
  • Ensure project decisions approvals and outcomes are accurately documented and communicated
  • Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with established timelines and objectives
  • Mentor junior project managers and contribute to governance and project management best practices
  • Independently manage multiple workstreams while maintaining visibility and accountability across stakeholders

Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:

  • 7 years of experience leading large-scale multi-workstream initiatives with executive visibility
  • Proven ability to facilitate complex meetings and drive decisions to successful resolution
  • Strong experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination
  • Expertise in project planning scheduling status reporting and governance processes
  • Experience using project management tools and controls including workplans RAID logs RACI matrices action trackers and change management processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create executive-level documentation and presentations
  • Strong organizational analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to quickly learn complex business processes and operational requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity prioritize competing initiatives and deliver results independently
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive accountability
  • Experience with healthcare managed care health and human services or similar regulated environments (preferred)
  • Experience supporting federal-state program implementations or compliance-driven initiatives (preferred)
  • Familiarity with procurement processes vendor coordination and regulatory implementation activities (preferred)
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification (preferred)

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
