DevSecOps IaC Engineer

Automate how DoD test environments get built patched and torn down using Terraform Ansible and GitLab CI.

Youll support a new Defense Health Agency program. This position is contingent upon contract award and the start date will align with the program start.

What youll do:

• Write and maintain infrastructure-as-code and pipeline jobs
• Build VM templates and configuration baselines
• Automate patching and STIG compliance checks
• Support environment requests from the program test teams

Must have:

• 3 or more years in DevOps DevSecOps or systems automation
• Hands-on Terraform or Ansible and a CI tool such as GitLab CI
• Linux administration
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and keep the background investigation DHA designates for this position
• DoD 8140 qualification for your work role before privileged access or the ability to earn it within six months

Nice to have:

• vSphere experience
• Python or PowerShell scripting
• An active Secret clearance or higher

Location: Chantilly Virginia (Washington D.C. area) is preferred on site at the test center. Remote from Huntsville Alabama or from anywhere in the continental U.S. also works through government-approved virtual desktop access with trips to Chantilly when the work needs them.

Citizenship: U.S. citizenship is required for the investigation this role needs. Zadens FSO verifies investigation status.

Pay range: $112000 to $153000 per year. Your location and experience set where you land in the range.
