Company Description

Were representing a rapidly scaling AI infrastructure company building the systems powering next-generation AI model development and evaluation. Their platform supports some of the worlds leading AI organizations by enabling highly specialized human intelligence workflows used in training frontier models.

The engineering organization operates in an extremely high-velocity environment focused on shipping scalable internal tooling developer infrastructure and evaluation systems. The company is profitable scaling aggressively and backed by top-tier investors with a deeply technical and execution-oriented culture.

This role sits within a small but highly leveraged applications platform team responsible for improving developer velocity across a growing engineering organization and contractor ecosystem. The mission is to dramatically reduce the friction involved in building testing and deploying new applications.

What You Will Do

• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines across complex multi-service environments
• Build and maintain scalable end-to-end testing infrastructure for production systems
• Improve monorepo local development workflows and developer tooling
• Create internal platform tooling that allows engineers and external contributors to ship reliable applications faster
• Design systems that dramatically improve developer productivity and reduce operational bottlenecks
• Support distributed engineering contributors without creating dependency on a small internal platform team
• Build reproducible developer workflows across containerized environments and multi-service architectures
• Improve deployment safety debugging workflows testing reliability and release processes
• Collaborate closely with platform infrastructure and engineering leadership teams on developer experience strategy

Ideal Background

• 48 years of software engineering experience with strong infrastructure platform or DevEx focus
• Proven ownership of production-grade CI/CD systems at scale
• Deep experience with Python Docker GitHub Actions and containerized development workflows
• Experience building or maintaining monorepo-based local development environments used daily by engineering teams
• Strong instincts around end-to-end testing in messy distributed multi-service systems
• Platform-minded engineer who focuses on improving engineering velocity and developer workflows
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous fast-moving startup environments with high ownership expectations
• Strong systems-thinking mindset with practical debugging and operational instincts
• Experience supporting external contributors contractors or large engineering ecosystems is highly valued

Preferred

• Experience at developer-platform-focused companies or infrastructure-heavy startups
• Familiarity with Playwright Modal Temporal Dagster or similar tooling
• Experience building developer platforms internal tooling CI systems or build systems at scale
• Exposure to platform engineering in high-growth startups with strong engineering cultures
• Experience improving local development experience for large monorepos or distributed service architectures
• Background in developer productivity release engineering or testing infrastructure
