Job Summary
Developmental disabilities professionals are encouraged to consider an available full-time Quality Specialist position with Liberty Healthcare.
In this role you will help improve the quality of Home and Community Based Services for older adults and people with developmental disabilities throughout Nebraska.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing critical incidents and sentinel events
- Analyzing data
- Writing reports
- Actively participating in meetings
- Providing technical assistance in person-centered care
Work setting and schedule
You will work Monday through Friday primarily during daytime hours.
This is a remote position which will allow you to work from home and occasionally require you to travel to locations throughout Eastern Nebraska. Travel is estimated at 10%.
Compensation and benefits
- $55000 a year
- Health dental and vision insurance
- 30 days of paid time off annually for holidays vacation sick and personal leave
- FSA 401(k) and mileage reimbursement

Qualifications
- Experience supporting older adults and/or people who are living with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of best practices in person-centered care / Home and Community Based Services
- Ability to work independently
- Bachelors degree in social work special education psychology criminal justice - or similar social service health care or human services field
Residency within Nebraska is required ideally within proximity of Omaha or Lincoln.
Relevant work experience
Social work service coordination case management direct support advocacy and QIDP roles bring relevant transferrable skills.
