The Developmental Softball Coach program is designed to provide aspiring coaches with comprehensive hands-on experience in a Division I softball environment.

Job Description:

The Developmental Softball Coach program is designed to provide aspiring coaches with comprehensive hands-on experience in a Division I softball environment. Participants will support the Ole Miss Softball coaching staff in all phases of the program including game planning practice preparation data analysis and recruiting while engaging in a structured professional development curriculum.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist with preparation of video cut-ups scouting reports charts and playbook materials for coaches.

Assist with opponent advance scouting to identify tendencies pitch patterns formations and areas of weakness.

Complete self-scouting and internal film review to identify trends strengths weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.

Prepare data reports graphs charts and statistical profiles to support coaching strategy and decision-making.

Assist with practice planning and game-day operations including charting organization communication and logistics support.

Support recruiting efforts through talent evaluation recruiting research and prospect tracking.

Assist with other softball operations and program support tasks as assigned by the coaching staff.
