Intermediate District 287 is looking for aDevelopmental Adaptive Physical Education (DAPE)Teacherat our West Education Center in Minnetonka MN!

Intermediate District 287 serves students in grades K-12 as well as transition age students (18-22 years old) from our 12 member districts in the west metro area. Our district offers a wide range of services and specialized programs primarily focused on setting IV special education that is designed to meet the diverse needs of our students. Salary is based on Local 2209 Salary Schedule A: $51349 - 101853 (depending on experience and education)

Tier 3 or Tier 4DAPElicenses may be eligible for a $3000 signing and retention bonus!

Requirements:

• Interested in candidates who are: diverse bilingual or have experience working with diverse populations.
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
• Current teaching license in Physical Education and DAPE OR a valid license in another subject area & willing to get an Out of Field license
• If not currently licensed must be willing and eligible to apply fora Tier 1 or 2 Physical Education Teaching License
