Development Seasonal Community Engagement & Christmas Campaign Associate

Classification: Temporary Non-Exempt 29-40 hours per week Hours vary between 8:30 am-5:00 pm. October 1 December 24 2026.

Salary: $23.00 per hour

Job Focus:

This position supports The Salvation Armys annual Christmas Campaign by helping to coordinate volunteers community partnerships donor engagement activities and seasonal activities throughout Central Ohio. This temporary position plays a key role in supporting Angel Tree Red Kettle Campaign Christmas Cheer Adopt-A-Family toy distribution and other holiday initiatives. Responsibilities include volunteer coordination community outreach donor engagement toy drive management event support and partnership development. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in nonprofit management community relations event coordination fundraising support volunteer leadership and donor stewardship.

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or volunteer coordination experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Comfortable working with diverse groups of volunteers and community partners.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced seasonal environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Availability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings and weekends during the Christmas season.
• Willingness to uphold and support The Salvation Armys mission and ministry.
• Valid Ohio Drivers license and the ability obtain and maintain driving privileges per Salvation Army insurance standards.
