The role

The Development Manager manages and delivers development advisory and transaction projects for government property assets and portfolios specifically for the purpose of workplace accommodation. This includes managing complex projects that require creative problem-solving and collaboration with diverse stakeholders to achieve commercial social and community benefits.

Youll bring your expertise to guide projects through feasibility strategy stakeholder consultation and delivery stages. Whether its rezoning remediation development or divestment your work will directly support government priorities and contribute to a more connected sustainable and liveable NSW.

What you will bring to the role

  • Strong project management skills across complex property planning procurement workplace design and construction with a proven ability to deliver outcomes in high-pressure and changing contexts.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders and manage competing priorities across legal political and community interfaces.
  • A collaborative and strategic mindset backed by sound commercial acumen and a drive to identify opportunities and solutions across a diverse property portfolio.

What is an essential requirement:

Tertiary qualifications in property and development management construction project management or equivalent professional experience.
