Purpose and Objective:
SAP Industries aDevelopment Expertat ourNewport Beach CAlocationresponsible for development focusing on concept design coding testing quality assurance of complex product features in a development team or responsible for complex product areas.
Expectations and Tasks:
Resolve complex issues withinownarea of expertise andsupportsothers in resolving complex issues. Define deliverables and provide advice and recommendations on solutions that may affect future design decisions. Show technicalbusinessand/or methodological leadership. Improve work methods and engineering skills in the team and beyond toestablishstate-of-the-artagile software engineering practices. Enhance skills beyond own core functional focus andworkson other tasks for the benefit of the team. Easily move into new topics. Utilize the expert level and broad overall product and technical knowledge and act internally and externally as a subject matter expert. Leveragethe currentand in-depth knowledge of industry trends. If acting as Scrum Master in the LEAN context responsible for promoting and supporting Scrum by helping everyone understand Scrum theory practices rules and values. Act as a servant-leader for the Product Owner and the Development Team. Facilitate Scrum Events on request or as. Coach the Development Team in self-organization. Remove impediments to the Development Teams progress.
Education andOccupational Experience:
Bachelorsdegree or foreign equivalent inComputer Science Information Systemsor a related field of studyandseven (7)years ofprogressive post-baccalaureateexperience in the job offered or related occupation.Alternatively aMastersdegree or foreign equivalent inComputer Science Information Systemsor a related field of studyandfive (5)years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and CompetenciesExperience:
Experience must involve five (5) years in the following:
Full-stack SAP application development & extensibility using S/4 HANA Classic & RESTful ABAP BOPF RAP/CAP CDS AMDP HANA SAP Gateway SAP CRM BTP Cloud Identity UI5/Fiori and SAP Enhancement Framework;
SAP Integration Suite (CPI) including Cloud Connector;
Multiple integration scenarios including event-driven (MQTT and AMQP) API-led (OData SOAP and REST) and data level integration using SLT Data Intelligence and HANA SDI;
Architecture leadership designing complex enterprise systems using TAM OOAD and BPMN;
Designing OLAP and OLTP systems using in-memory relational and NoSQL databases including SAP HANA Cloud Data Lake SAP BW and both real-time and batch integration patterns; and
SAP TPM CRM Settlement ManagementFiCo S/4 Supply Chain MM and SAP Sales & Distribution.
Experience must also involve at least one (1) year of experience in each of the following:
Java and Node JS; and
Integration scenarios including A2A B2B EDI IDoc X12 and EDIFACT.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is$202540 -$344400.SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step towarddemonstratingSAPs commitment to pay equity. SAPprovidesthe annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is$247000- $420000. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range dependent upon the key aspects of each case which mayinclude education skills experience scope of the role location etc. asdeterminedthrough the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollaramountand any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
