• Tool Project Costs & timing and Piece Price Estimating for but not limited to new or transfer molds prototypes engineering changes and tool refurbs
• Evaluating customer specifications for manufacturability & feasibility.
• Identify manufacturing strategy that optimizes efficiency quality and profitability.
• Mold Filling Simulations to be used for cycle time estimates and to identify manufacturing / feasibility issues
• Create preliminary layouts of tool concept for feasibility timing and estimated costs to be based on
• Engineering representation in customer feasibility reviews
• Attend AQP 1 & 6 meetings
• IQMS quote process
• Quote worksheet feasibility review
• Technical recommendations and expertise on Raw Material selection & processing
• Review and understand applicable customer specific requirements.

• CAD software proficiency to create layouts and make part design changes
• Ability to read blueprints GD&T technical drawings and specifications
• Effective Customer Communication
• Mathematical knowledge to perform calculations for volumes weights and dimensions accurately.
• Understanding of Raw Material properties and their suitability to meet product design requirements
• Understanding of tool and plastics manufacturing methods and cost drivers
