The MOP team supports the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle by managing the tools processes and platforms that enable efficient secure and reliable application development and operations. We oversee source control and code management through GitHub automate build and deployment workflows using GitHub Actions and Jenkins and help ensure code quality and security with tools such as SonarQube and Black addition we provide monitoring and observability capabilities through Splunk and AppDynamics to help teams proactively identify issues maintain application performance and support production stability. Overall our team is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the technology pipeline that supports software development from code creation through deployment and ongoing operational monitoring.

Position Purpose:

Perform all phases of applications systems analysis and design. Analyze systems specifications and develop applications to support information systems processes. Prepare detailed specifications from which complex programs will be written. Design code test debug document and maintain these programs. Formulates scope and objectives through research to develop or modify complex systems.

What Youll Do:

  • Ensure team members understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions organizational standards are maintained and applications are delivered according to project timeliness. Provide expert system knowledge perform research attend meetings and review documents.

  • Maintain and modify programs according to specifications. Code compile and implement application software that is delivered on time and within budget. Evaluate basic interrelationships in immediate programming area to determine how changes in one program will affect another related area.

  • Test modified programs create necessary test files and data verify logic debug and write relevant documentation.

  • Analyze production systems recommend systems enhancements provide instruction to production support team. Research customer issues and determine appropriate resolutions. Coordinate implementation of modifications or enhancements.

  • Analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems. Develop functional design and technical specifications concept diagrams and work flow diagrams and related procedures to process data using appropriate systems environment/platform. Document programs/procedures.

Required Education:

  • Bachelors in a job related field

Degree Equivalency:

  • Associates degree plus an extra 2 years job-related experience for a total of 6 years of required work experience (see required work experience)

OR

  • 8 total years required work experience


Required Work Experience:

  • 4 years-of application development systems testing or other job-related experience.


Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of applications/development quality assurance and integration methodologies concepts and facilities in a mainframe midrange web and/or PC/LAN environment.

  • Strong analysis decision-making and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrates logical abstract thinking and assimilating/adhering to project goals and deadlines.

  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

  • Able to work well under pressure and as part of a team.

  • Strong knowledge of interpersonal skills/team building.

  • Familiar with project management concepts.

  • Pays attention to detail.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees clients vendors etc.


Required Software and Other Tools:

  • Strong knowledge of relevant operating systems programming languages and development tools and their usage in the company.

We Prefer That You Have:

  • Experience with enterprise monitoring observability and network detection platforms such as ExtraHop Splunk or AppDynamics.

  • Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD platforms including GitHub GitHub Actions Jenkins Azure DevOps SonarQube and Artifactory.

  • Experience developing automation and integrations using Python JavaScript/ TypeScript Groovy or similar technologies.

  • Experience supporting containerized platforms such as OpenShift or Kubernetes.

  • Experience leading platform upgrades migrations and enterprise technology implementations.
