POSITION SUMMARY

Under direction performs a wide range of application development related duties including analysis design evaluation development coding testing and maintenance of complex application systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Design build and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions as part of migrating legacy systems to modern cloud-based platforms.
• Develop and support ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes and data architectures (e.g. layered/medallion approaches) to ensure reliable data ingestion transformation and delivery during and after migration.
• Monitor and optimize data solutions for performance cost efficiency and security in a cloud environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system migration validate data integrity and troubleshoot production issues.
• Design and develop SQL Server stored procedures functions views and triggers to be used during the ETL process.
• Design and develop SSIS / SQL ETL solutions that consume data from numerous upstream systems for data transformation and processing.
• Design implement and maintain database objects (tables views indexes) and database security.
• Proficient with ETL tools expert in industry standard best practices on Microsoft SSIS and SSMS (2016 or higher)
• Analyze and develop strategies to import and transfer data between source staging and Development/Production Warehouse destinations.
• Troubleshoot and correct ETL warnings and errors and resolve critical issues promptly.
• Provides analytical and technical expertise on performance tuning index optimization and query optimization.
• Stays informed of new developments and technologies by reading journals and other pertinent publications maintaining contact with vendors and participating in professional organizations meetings and seminars.
• Work closely with MED IT to assist in patch update reboot capacity planning and performance tuning.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

TRAINING/EXPERIENCE

• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Three (3) years of full-time experience performing coding testing and debugging application programs obtained within the last three (3) years.
• Help desk experience required
• Multi-facility support desired
• Experience in firewall management
• Experience in managing systems administration operations required
• Technical certifications are a plus

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSE

• A Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science Information Systems or Data Science
