Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Develop application specifications: Analyze and assist in the development of application specifications
- Design build and maintain Reports: Design build and maintain Crystal Reports Widgets Forms Power Apps applications/services. Heavy sql development and extensive use of Crystal Reporting.
- Analyze customers information needs: Analyzes customers information needs business problems and business opportunities and assist in determining the most efficient and effective systems/programming solutions.
- IT subject matter expert: Function as the IT subject matter expert for the assigned applicant areas.
- IT development support: Provide an IT development support role for assigned tasks. Maintain support and upgrade existing systems and applications needed to keep the departments software solutions running.
- Teamwork: Work within a team environment in both a lead and subordinate position depending on the various projects scope.
- Application Development: Ensure quality development and operation of assigned tasks. Design maintain and code programs using DBHDD standard programming languages. Codes compiles debugs documents and implements computer programs to meet specific business needs and requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Candidates ideally would possess Bachelor of Information Systems or Computer Science and/or 5 years of application development experience.
- Sql Skills: Strong understanding/abilities with writing SQL functions queries stored procedures and views. Microsoft SQL Server development related to RDBMS design stored procedures UDF table structures triggers transactions table variables etc.
- Program and Report Development: Solid understanding of program and report development using program report and form development tools.
- Ability to Analyze Business Needs: Ability to research analyze information and draw logical inferences. Analyze customers information needs business problems and business opportunities and assist in determining the most efficient and effective systems/programming solutions.
- Crystal reports knowledge
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools DevOps
- Knowledge web framework
- Proficient in C#.NET with a good knowledge of their ecosystems
- Experience with PowerApps Power BI Services Power Automate a plus.
- Knowledge of Hospital EHR processes and procedures to include but not limited to eMar order entry medication dispensing assessments and ADT.
- Knowledge of MyAvatar RxConnect and Dentrix.
