Compensation plans are based on a multi-step progression system. The pay range reflects the entry level and maximum salary potential in the assigned pay grade.
**A starting salary may be negotiated and will be commensurate with education training and experience in alignment with pay administration policies**
This isentry-level work in the Montgomery County Detention Facility. Employees of this class are responsible forthe scheduling of inmate recreation times as well as the maintenance and careof recreational areas and equipment. Employees in the class monitor inmatesduring recreational time. Work is performed under the general supervision of aCaptain or the Detention Facility Administrator.
HighSchool/GED and six (6) months experience in scheduling or developingrecreational programs for adults to include selecting appropriate equipment andactivities. Three college level coursesin recreational programming or physical education can be substituted for thesix (6) months experience.
NOTE:Qualifying education training and experience that provide the requisiteknowledge skills and abilities to perform the job will be considered.
