Basic Job Functions:

Responsibilities for the Detailing Supervisor include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the company sales and profit efforts by driving directing supervising and leading the overall activities of the Detailing Group.
  • Controlling and supervising all necessary processes to ensure that all projects meet or exceed all applicable specifications and standards.
  • Along with the Detailing Group Leaders aggressively maintaining the Detailing schedule to meet internal and external customer needs drive quality throughput within the Detailing Group.
  • In conjunction with the Engineering Manager participating in the strategic planning for the Detailing Group to meet future anticipated needs.
  • Maintaining control of the Detailing programs to ensure that the correct versions are being used to the fullest extent.
  • Being willing to travel with short notice.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US (Nucor Buildings Group Texas will not sponsor the need for a visa now or in the future).

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of previous leadership experience with direct reports

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree / Certificate with focus on Architecture Steel Construction or related field
  • Experience in steel or related industry

Must have supervisor and/or manager recommendation and must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
