Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused AV/Desktop Support Technician to provide part-time technical support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining classroom technology supporting audiovisual equipment troubleshooting hardware and software issues and assisting staff with Microsoft 365 Teams SharePoint and device access. This role requires excellent communication strong problem-solving abilities and hands-on desktop support experience.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain classroom laptops ensuring they are updated charged configured and ready for daily use and testing.
Update and maintain screencasting devices cameras portable projectors and other audiovisual equipment.
Verify testing links clear browser history and ensure all classroom devices are functioning properly.
Inspect update and maintain AV equipment kits replacing missing or damaged items as needed.
Coordinate with IT to remove incorrect user profiles perform device cleanup and prepare equipment for redeployment.
Maintain device inventory assignment tracking and support maintenance logs for academy equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft Teams SharePoint OneDrive Cognito QM LMS Adobe and related application issues.
Provide basic Microsoft 365 (Office 365) support to staff and contractors.
Assist full-time staff and contractors with login authentication and access issues while coordinating with IT for ticket resolution.
Support Windows-based desktops laptops and peripheral devices.
Perform hardware and basic network troubleshooting.
Deliver excellent customer service while providing timely technical assistance.
Assist with additional technology-related projects and support requests as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of desktop support or technical support experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience supporting Windows operating systems.
Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office 365.
Experience troubleshooting hardware peripherals and basic networking issues.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently in a part-time onsite environment.
Experience supporting audiovisual (AV) equipment is highly preferred.
