About the Role
As a Structural Designer I youll join our growing structural engineering team in an entry-level drafting role. Working under close supervision youll learn to produce structural drawings models and details that support our renewable energy projects across solar (PV) battery storage (BESS) and high-voltage (HV).
What Youll Do:
Use Autodesk products to prepare and revise structural construction drawings and details plan views sections elevations and details under close supervision.
Assist with drafting and detailing foundations (driven piles screw and helical piles and cast-in-place concrete) steel structures building envelopes and non-building structures.
Help compile foundation bills of material (BOMs) and quantity takeoffs coordinating with the civil design team.
Work with structural engineers and senior designers to incorporate markups and revisions accurately.
Follow applicable Client EPC Owner and Utility standards on assigned drawings.
Learn and follow CAD standards templates and file and revision control.
