Key Responsibilities
Perform data entry and design work using proprietary design software
Prepare detailed shop orders and production documentation
Review and check the work of fellow designers for accuracy
Manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced production environment
Coordinate with team members to meet assigned project deadlines
Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn specialized design software
Working knowledge of geometry and trigonometry
Ability to interpret 2D drawings and visualize how components fit together in three dimensions
Collaborative mindset with a willingness to support coworkers and customers beyond core duties
Ability to work 50 hours per week during peak production periods
Relevant industry design experience is preferred
Associates Degree or equivalent required; technical or drafting education a plus
