WHAT IS THE JOB

As the Design Intern you will work closely with the SM & AM Design teams to assist with tasks related to the entire product development lifecycle. You will help coordinate track and organize product samples input/update tech packs within our PLM system and assist with the daily needs/responsibilities of the design department. This is an hourly non-exempt position.

WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepping samples (measuring inspecting pressing).
• Assisting with prep for presentations (pulling samples steaming samples help with pulling together boards etc.).
• Helping to organize sample library (by style category).
• Work within our PLM system to assist in updating tech packs specs & trims.
• Prepping Design Boards.
• Organizing Files.
• Sample Coordination.
• Assisting with product quality issue remediation.

WHAT ARE THE ESSENTIALS

• Technical Skills - must be able to measure garments in both imperial & metric.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must be fluent in English and proficient in written and oral communication.
• Humble Motivated and resourceful problem solver with a team player no task is too small attitude.
• Have a hunger to learn new skills and show patience in the process.
• Flexible positive and creative mindset with ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines. High sense of urgency.
• The ability to work comfortably and efficiently in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office & Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator Photoshop InDesign)
