SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ownership of design and analysis of mechanical structures and components.
• DeepunderstandingofBillofMaterial(BOM)structures.
• Developnew products using3Dsolidmodelingsoftware(SolidWorks).
• Createdetaildrawingsof3Dmodels(SolidWorks).
• Workwithprocurementteamtoorder prototypepartsandmanagecreationofprototypes.
• Createtestproceduresandworkwithtestingdepttoimplementfunctionalstructuralandstabilitytesting.
• Makemodificationstonewdesignsbasedonresultsoftesting.
• Evaluatemachineweightandbalance forroadworthinessandcranestability.
• Createsalessupportdrawings.
• Analyzeproductfailuresdeveloprepairsandredesignaccordingly.
• Assisttechnicalpublicationsincreationofmanuals(partsbooksservicemanualsoperatormanuals).
• ECRreviewandrecommendapproval/rejection.
• ECOcreationandgiverecommendationsonimplementation.

• 2yearsexperienceinanengineeringcapacity.
• BachelorsDegreeinMechanicalEngineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• Proficientinengineeringdesignsoftware3Dand2D(SolidWorksandAutoCADpreferred).
• ProficientinMicrosoftOffice.
• StructuralDesignWeldedsteelstructures.
• Understanding and use of MRP/ERP systems (SAP Oracle Epicor Infor xetc).

• Two (2) years of engineering experience in manufacturing environmentor
• Two (2) years of engineering experience in automotive design related field or
• Two (2) years of engineering experience in vocational truck assembly.
• Ability to identify complex build challenges and implement solutions quickly and correctly.
• Ability to weld.
• Ability to understand 12V electrical systems.
• Ability to understand hydraulic plumbing systems.

• Ability to read and interpret documents; ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Must also possess the ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of organization.
