We arelooking for: DermatologyVeterinaryAssistant

Small animalscan experience over 160 different conditions that relate to dermatology. If you like a good mystery and the research it takes tocome up withanswers Dermatology is thedepartmentfor you! This team runspointon allergy testing ear and skin cytology skin scraping fine needle aspirationbiopsiesand cultures as well as client educationand collaboration.

Whatyoulldo:

• Manage appointments: obtain histories medical record keeping invoicing patient discharges etc.

• AssistwithGold standard Intradermal and Serum allergy testing on both canines and felines.

• Performing biopsies earcytologys skin scraping/cytologys fungal disease testing and various other laboratory testing.

• Assistwith deep ear flushes (middle ear cleaning with video-otoscopy)

• Learn about andutilizevarious therapeutic diets for canines and felines based on allergicdisease.

• Inspire teach multitask and be a highly functional team member

• Ensure documentation isaccurateand complete

Who you are:

• Prior veterinary experiencepreviousdermatologyexperience desired

• Proficientincalculations(drugs constant rate infusions unit conversions etc.)

• Flexibility with work hours and able to workadditionalhours when necessary

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
