Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY:

A member of the Boston Medical Center Health System is seeking anexperienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistantto join our growing outpatient dermatology program inBrighton MA. This role is ideal for a dermatology APP who is comfortable practicing independently within a collaborative care model and is excited to help grow services in a modern community-based setting.

Position: Physician Assistant

Department: Dermatology

Schedule: 40 hours

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient dermatologic care to adult patients

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic skin conditions

• Perform dermatologic procedures within scope and demonstrated experience including but not limited to:

• Skin biopsies and excisions

• Cryotherapy and electrodessication

• Intralesional and cosmetic injections (if applicable)

• Develop and manage treatment plans and follow patients longitudinally

• Educate patients on skin health disease prevention and treatment options

• Document clinical encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record

• Collaborate with dermatologists primary care providers and clinical staff

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

• Graduate of an accreditedNurse Practitioner or Physician Assistantprogram

CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:

• Current or eligibleMassachusetts licensure

• National board certification (AANP ANCC or NCCPA as applicable)

• Minimum of 2 years of direct outpatient dermatology experience required
